Defending the Alamo is a legacy project for local artist, Dan Colón. This stunning piece pays tribute to the Kentuckians who died at the Alamo defending Texas’ right to independence. This statue is on display in Louisville in front of the Ralston Building (the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels’ headquarters) through the end of September and then moves to San Antonio, Texas, where it will be on permanent display at the Alamo.
