The new 2024 Gallopalooza statues will be unveiled for the first time, and you’re invited! Get ready to be in awe of stunning artistry, plus you can vote for your favorite statue. The winning artist will take home $2,500 for creating their masterpiece, which will be named “Best in Show.”
Many artists who designed and created each of these one-of-a-kind painted statues will be on hand during the weekend to answer questions and provide insight to their work.

Admission is a 2024 Pegasus Pin® ($7 at select retail locations or $10 at the event).

Since 2004, Louisville’s Sidewalk Derby has graced the streets of the Derby City and beyond with more than 500 vibrantly decorated fiberglass statues that help beautify our community. While each statue is unique, the stable of designs ranges from life-sized horses in varying poses to chess pieces and six-foot-tall julep cups.
