Artist Statement:

This design was inspired by my past abstract artwork and my love for stained glass. I started working in this style during the pandemic to explore color theory and found it extremely therapeutic and almost meditative. I would love for this design to bring joy and brighten a viewer’s day through its vibrant and bold colors.

Artist Bio

Brittney Rice (b.1995) is a painter whose current work pushes the boundaries of traditional landscape painting. She examines various overlooked aspects of nature by integrating natural forms with abnormal abstractions. Recently much of Brittney’s work has been increasingly abstract – focusing on intuition and color gradation. Brittney has exhibited her work locally at Sotheby’s Realty, Total Wine & More, the Capitol Rotunda, the 849 Gallery, the AC Hotel, and the Galt House. She recently finished a non-profit project for Operation Art Strings – Guitars for Vets. In 2017 Brittney earned her BFA degree at the Kentucky College of Art and Design at Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky – where she currently resides
